TPK Brewing Co. will be running multiple sessions of every remastered first edition D&D adventure from the recent Quests from the Infinite Staircase anthology release, along with an original level 20 capstone adventure written by GM Isaac. Sessions will run daily throughout the 9/6-9/15 event, with real-life loot awarded the night of 9/26 based on the number of sessions survived

Infinite Staircase Open Painting Night

We're back with another TPK open miniature painting night. We'll be expanding our available free supplies, along with our neighbors Board Bard Games bringing over a full miniature bazaar and Corvid Creations helping with technical painting tips throughout the night.

Did you survive the Infinite Staircase? Do you just want to recount your exploits or celebrate those who made it through the gauntlet unscathed? Come join the party!

The award ceremony will kickoff at 6:30; winners do not need to be present to claim their loot, it's just more fun that way.

Sashay in style to the Steampunk Soiree at the Society Hotel.  Where history meets hi-tech, enjoy vintage cocktails and an extraordinary view from the Rooftop Bar.  Show-off your steampunk cosplay and win awards and prizes, including an exceptionally rare Society Hotel Bomber Jacket.

8 teams of 1 or 2 designers will be

tasked to create an original board

game in 5 days.

  • Game must be for 4 players

  • Entry Fee:  $30 per team.

MONDAY SEPT 9:   Pick up your Game Kit between 10am and 5pm at Battle Grounds.  When you come in you will be given a blank Game Design Kit from Ad Magic Print & Play.

  • Draw a Random Game Theme.  (You will draw 2, and choose one of the.)

  • Draw 3 Random Game Mechanics rules. Your game will be required to include at least 2 of those mechanics, but you can include others as you like beyond those 2.  

  • Games must be for 4 players. You will have 10 to 15 mins to teach the rules on Saturday Game Sessions.  8 rounds will be held)


FRIDAY SEPT 13, 3:00pm  - 5:00pm:  Designers will drop off their finished design.


SATURDAY SEPT 14, 10:00 start:  Game play, voting and awards.

  • Game play sessions with 8 sets of 4 players will play each game for a set amount of time in a round robin format.  After each game is played, players will fill out an evaluation form for the game they just finished.

  • Designers must be at the event all day to teach players about each game.

Once all the games have been played and scored, awards will be given for several categories such as Fan Favorite, Most Original Design, Closest to Theme and Mechanics, Best Overall Aesthetic, Best Rules/Teach, Most Fun Overall, etc…

Come join First Fantasy Books and Legacy Coffee Company in Gresham for a D&D Learn to Play event for the whole family. Come immerse yourself in a quest to discover what happened to the lost city of Ayrith. Join one of three adventuring parties as you explore a foreign landscape, battle mythical monsters, and search for clues to the lost colony's demise.
