AI POLICY
Geek Week PDX does not intentionally use AI generated images or graphics in Geek Week PDX specific content, including logos, website content, flyers and social media. We encourage our business partners holding events during Geek Week PDX to do the same, however, we cannot compel them to do so.
Geek Week PDX is committed to supporting local artists, and actively partners with them.
Vendor Policy in Geek Week PDX Markeplaces
We are committed to maintaining the integrity of our creative spaces. Geek Week PDX does not allow AI artist or AI product in our Marketplaces, including Fantasy Fest.
-
Vetting Process: Our application process allows us to vet every creator before a booth is purchased. This ensures a diverse balance of vendors and allows us to filter out AI-generated portfolios.
-
Disclosure & Enforcement: While we expressly exclude any products containing AI elements, we also reserve the right to evaluate all offerings on-site. If a vendor is found to have misrepresented their work or is selling undisclosed AI products, we may request the removal of those specific items. In cases of significant or intentional misrepresentation, vendors may be asked to leave the event without a refund.
