Reception for "Memorias del Verano": A Collins Gallery Event
Veranos Sudamericanos cuenta la historia de tres artistas latinoamericanos. Guisy Ceballos es de Guatemala, Orlando Almanza es de Cuba y Erick I. Rodríguez viene de Venezuela. Los artistas exploran la memoria, la pertenencia y la identidad a través de reflexiones sobre el lugar donde pasaron su infancia. A través de la pintura y la fotografía revisitan momentos que dieron forma a quiénes son hoy. Han viajado lejos de casa, y buscan un nuevo lugar donde pertenecer. En esta exhibición, vuelven a sus raíces sudamericanas a través de la memoria.
