Taylor Valdés is a Portland maker, dreamer and schemer best known for founding and operating The Venderia vending machines. When she’s not driving around town loading cool, locally made products into her vending machines, you can find her making pinatas in her garage or working at elementary schools as a recess lady, reading interventionist and community art organizer.

Erika Schnatz is a doodler and designer who lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and the cutest (and least well-behaved) dog in the world. Every March for the past decade she has run a tournament of cuteness called Cute K.O.: 16 original characters go head-to-head and folks vote for their favorites on social media until a champion is crowned. The Cute K.O. universe expands each year as new characters are added to the competition, and the top characters are immortalized in a variety of formats including stickers, prints, zines, and original art pieces.
Lichen the Sasquatch
This is a 4”x6” risograph print of Lichen the Sasquatch, a character originally created for the card game Zoom Zoom Vroom published by the Portland Game Collective and later incorporated into Cute K.O.’s 2025 cuteness competition. When he’s not snacking on tea and crumpets in a mossy grove, Lichen may be seen driving around town in his bookmobile on the hunt for rare and unusual tomes.
Greg is a freelance artist and lifelong Portlander, and can be held personally responsible for a number of posters, event flyers, stickers, customized greeting cards, and T-shirts throughout the Pacific time zone… including a big ol’ film history mural near the entrance of Movie Madness.
Sometimes the Pacific Northwest forests are too dense for even Sasquatch to tromp through, leaving him no choice but to floor it in his souped-up Subaru hot rod.
Michæl Buchino (buchi.no) lives in Portland with a bicycle and a pencil.
